Registration

Registering your details with 1300FLOWERS makes it faster and more convenient to order online.

All you need is a current email address and you can register your details by clicking on Register

We will send you a confirmation email to verify your email address and registration details.

You don’t need to be logged in to order our products online.

You will need to provide us with a contact email address so we can send you a tax invoice.

By registering with www.1300flowers.com.au, you agree to provide accurate and current information about yourself as well as family members/friends registered on your account including correct names, addresses, email address and any other requested details and to update that information if it changes.

Any person registered is responsible for all activities that occur in relation to their logon account.

How to Order Online

  1. Search our range to find the perfect arrangement and click “Buy Now”.

  2. Begin by either logging in as a registered customer, become a registered customer or continue with the purchase without registering.

  3. Next we ask for the details of the person you are sending the flowers to along with the message you would like on the card. Click “Continue”.

  4. Then you will need to provide the Recipient delivery address details, date for delivery and any delivery instructions. Please read our Delivery Policy at this point. Other services that may be
    of interest will also be displayed including morning and afternoon guaranteed delivery option. If you have a promotional code you may enter it at the bottom of this page. Click “Continue”.

  5. Provide your details, enter your first and surname, country, contact phone number and email address and click “Continue”.

  6. To proceed with the purchase please provide your credit card details and then press “Place order”.

  7. The next page will be a confirmation of your order with a reference number. Please make a note of this reference number. We will also send you a confirmation email.

Order Confirmation

Once your order has been processed, 1300 FLOWERS will send you a confirmation email summarising your order and providing a reference code for your records.

This email is also your tax invoice for the order.

It is the responsibility of the customer to check the details of the order provided on the order confirmation to ensure they are correct and if you have any questions or concerns contact us via email, or call our friendly Customer Service Team on 1300FLOWERS (1300 356 937).

Varying or Cancelling an Order

As we offer a same day delivery service, we would ask that you advise us of any variations or cancelations to your order as soon as possible.

Variations and changes to the delivery address and redelivery of orders may incur an additional fee and payment of this fee is required prior to delivery.

You may cancel your order at any time, but if the order has already been dispatched, delivery and wastage fees will apply.

Product and Service Enquiries

At 1300FLOWERS we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality products and services, so if you are not completely happy with any of our products or services please contact us within 7 business days of your purchase so that we can rectify the issue to your satisfaction.

It is important to remember that flowers are a natural and perishable product and as such they may be affected by both indoor environment and outdoor weather conditions, seasonal availability and variations in colour, shape and size may occur.

To Report a Problem

Please contact us within 24 hours of the delivery of your order to report any product or service issues. For product quality issues, we require photos of the arrangement to help us determine how the fault has occurred and the best way to rectify the situation.

Delivery

Same Day Delivery Guarantee

We offer same day delivery Australia wide for all orders to metropolitan destinations placed before 2pm on weekdays and before 10am on Saturday - based on the local time of the delivery area.

All metropolitan orders placed before these cut off times are guaranteed to arrive:

- before 5pm to a business address, and

- before 6pm to a residential address.

We do not deliver on Sundays – but may do so for events such as Mother's Day and Valentine’s Day.

Delivery Fees

Deliveries Australia-wide are $10.00. However, delivery surcharges may apply for special event delivery days such as Christmas Eve, Valentine's Day or Mother's Day.

Time Specific Deliveries

If you need your order to arrive earlier, we can guarantee delivery by either midday or by 3pm when you purchase one of our morning or afternoon express delivery services.

We do not offer or guarantee any other requests for preferred times of delivery.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they check their invoice and confirm the name and address details of the recipient are complete and correct.

1300 FLOWERS Delivery Regions

We currently deliver to most locations throughout Australia.

Our prices on the website are all for the floral arrangements and delivery charges are extra.

Additional delivery charges may apply for more remote areas, or for redelivery or express service requests. For enquiries about delivery charges, please call our friendly Customer Service Team on 1300FLOWERS (1300 356 937).

Exceptions to Same Day Delivery

Deliveries that are unable to be make on the requested day will be delivered on the next working day.

Same day delivery to rural and remote locations may not be possible due to distance and logistics. If a delivery is not possible on a requested day, 1300 FLOWERS will advise the sender of this.

1300 FLOWERS is not responsible for non delivery of orders for reasons beyond our control. This would include, but is not limited to the following situations: 

a) There is nobody present at the address provided and the delivery agent decides there is a danger 
of theft or damage to the product; 

b) The address provided for the recipient is incorrect or incomplete;

c) No one with the recipient’s name is present at the address provided; or

d) There is no contact number or an incorrect or invalid number provided so 1300 FLOWERS has no way to check on delivery details.

Items that contain alcohol cannot be left at a delivery location if a person over the age of 18 is unavailable to receive the order (e.g. The order cannot be left at the front door if nobody is home)

Once delivered in accordance with your instructions, the product becomes the responsibility of the customer.

If no one is at home at the time of delivery

There is a field on the “Recipient Details” page for you to enter instructions in case no one is at home when the delivery occurs.

We would appreciate advice on whether to leave the flowers in a secure place that would also be protected from the elements. Without these instructions our delivery driver will make a decision as to whether to leave the flowers unattended or deliver them at a later time.

1300 FLOWERS will make every effort to contact the person ordering flowers or the recipient where we are having difficulty in delivering the flowers.

If an order requires more than one attempt at delivery for any reason, a redelivery fee may apply and any subsequent amount will be charged to your credit card.

SUBSTITUTIONS

Our Policy

As flowers and plants are seasonal and subject to availability our florists may need to make substitutions to an order on the day of delivery to ensure it meets the requested delivery time. We will always make every effort to reach you by phone and email to seek you approval for any substitutions otherwise appropriate products of equal or greater value will be used.

Why Substitutions Occur

Although our florists do their best to match your order with what you have requested it´s necessary from time to time to make floral, packaging and merchandise substitutions in order to deliver orders on time or where flowers or products are temporarily unavailable.

These substitutions happen because flowers are a natural and perishable product and not all flowers are available in all locations across Australia all the time. Taking this into consideration our flower range has been designed to avoid problems where possible but unfortunately substitutions are just a part of the floral industry so we cannot make any guarantees.

What Will Be Substituted ?

When a florist is unable to source a particular flower that makes up an arrangement they will refer to the substitution defined by our product manual. The substituted flower will be of equal or higher value and will generally have a similar appearance.

In the case that the substitute is substantially different than the original we then contact you to discuss this alternative with you or we locate another florist in our network which may have a more appropriate substitute available.

Colours are also another factor that influences substitution. For example the product image in our flower range may have yellow flowers but if the florist does not have those flowers in that colour then they may substitute them for another colour, for example orange.

What if I have specific colour requests?

If you have a special request for flower colours in your order and there is availability problems we will be in touch with you to discuss your options further.

It will be necessary from time to time to make floral, packaging and merchandise substitutions in order to deliver orders in time or where flowers or products are temporarily unavailable. Flowers are seasonal and subject to availability on the day of delivery. We will endeavour to contact you when making substitutions otherwise appropriate products of equal or greater value will be used.

Product Freshness

We only use the freshest and best quality product at 1300 FLOWERS. As such, some stems, including Lilies, may be closed when received.

Website Pricing

All prices on the 1300 FLOWERS website are shown in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of GST.

After an order is processed for delivery to a regional area, we reserve the right to vary the price and will seek the customer's consent to continue with the increase, or provide a full refund.

Promotion Codes

Only one promotion code may be used per order. This is applicable for orders placed via the website and the call centre. If you need assistance with an existing promotion code please call 1300 FLOWERS (1300 356 937) before placing your order.

Payment

When providing your credit or debit card details you are agreeing that you are authorised to use that card and it must have sufficient available funds to cover your charges. 

A surcharge of 3.5% is applicable for payments made with American Express credit cards.

A surcharge of 3% is applied for payments made with Diners Club credit cards.

Privacy Policy

1300 FLOWERS is committed to ensuring the privacy and security of all personal information collected for the purpose of processing flower orders. 1300 FLOWERS respects the privacy of all its customers and the recipients of flowers and complies with the National Privacy Principles (Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000).

  1. We do not sell, rent or lease any personal customer information to third parties. We will provide details to florists and delivery couriers and other companies that work on our behalf in order to provide this flower delivery service.

  2. When you order or register with 1300 FLOWERS, we will ask you to provide the personal contact details of the sender, including payment details and personal contact details of the recipient of the ordered flowers.

  3. 1300 FLOWERS takes all reasonable steps to protect all of the personal information we gather from loss, unauthorized access, modification, disclosure or any misuse.

  4. 1300 FLOWERS receives and stores any information you enter on www.1300flowers.com.au or give us in any other way according to Australian data storage standards.

  5. 1300 FLOWERS uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect your transaction and credit card details. SSL is the industry standard for the transmission of credit card details. SSL technology provides 128 bit encryption of your order details which effectively scrambles all your data so that it cannot be read when it is being transmitted over the internet to our order database.

  6. Any user of the 1300 FLOWERS system can choose not to provide certain information, but then they might not be able to take advantage of the products we offer. We use the information that you provide for purposes such as responding to your requests, customizing future ordering for you and communicating with you.

  7. As a user of 1300 FLOWERS, you may receive emails or SMS text messages from us. These may include reminders before Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day and Anniversaries. Please let us know by return email or SMS text if you do not wish to receive this material.

  8. 1300 FLOWERS may send you marketing material that we consider is useful to you. 1300 FLOWERS may also send information about current promotions. Please let us know if you do not wish to receive this material and we will not send it to you.

  9. We receive and store certain types of information automatically whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use "cookies" and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses www.1300flowers.com.au. This information is used for fraud prevention or to measure or collect session information.

Technical difficulties may be beyond the control of 1300 FLOWERS, for example, if there are issues with users’ own Internet Service Providers (ISP’s).
